Another one bites the dust.
There is a working one about 100 miles from where this one was. The problem with this one was a complete lack of engineering focus on what it takes to make this thing work.
They went from concentrators, that take a lot of water, to solar panels because there is not enough water in the desert where they wanted to do this. This is a huge problem with solar concentrators that gets lost in the noise of how green it is.
Hopefully that $2 billion can be better used now.
