You know, this is sad in a way.  We need this clash of ideas, but at the end of the day I am reminded of a political commercial from the 1980 election.  This commercial had two guys in a car, the passenger looked like Tip O'Neil.  The car runs out of gas on a road and the driver keeps asking what can we do and the Tip look alike just looks befuddled and mumbling.

That is what we got last night.....

Mr. president, we need you to be better than this.
