Our liberal brothers and sisters love to talk about the outsourcing of jobs as being the underlying problem that Michigan and Detroit has, but what about insourcing?
Honda is the third company to bring vehicle assembly to the state of Alabama, following the path broken by Mercedes in the 1980's, and Hyundai in the 1990's. Beyond this there is a Toyota engine plant in Huntsville and the Thyssen/Krupp steel plant in south Alabama and a new EADS aircraft assembly plant near Mobile.
It goes both ways folks, this is over 100,000 high paying jobs that Michigan could have had if they had not been trying to loot all of their companies.
